Atlas Container Corporation has entered into an Agreement with Interstate Resources Inc. (IRI) of Arlington Virginia to service existing customers doing business with the Atlas plant in Meriden Connecticut. The plant ceased manufacturing operations on October 2nd of 2009. 12/09/2008 e-business Launched on Atlas Container Website
Using Internet Explorer or Netscape, customers will soon have access to their data online and in real-time. Current customers will access the Atlas Container web site and enter a password-protected area to do the following:
- Review open order data by PO number, item number or a starting date
- Review scheduled shipments
- Review shipment history in detail by PO number, item number or a starting date
- Review item listings of items either ordered or quoted and on file
- Request a quote for an existing item
- Request a quote for a new item by entering basic style, board grade, size, and print information along with quantities
- Enter a purchase order for previously quoted items.
- These will then be reviewed by Atlas customer Service and imported into Order Entry
11/20/2008 Spartan Dust Collection System Added
Atlas Container in Meriden Connecticut has just added a Spartan Dust Collection System to the 5-color Ward Rotary Die Cutter. This coupled with new Anilox rolls and blade assemblies allows this machine to print the highest quality product possible.
