Corrugated Products

 RSC – Regular Slotted Carton

A highly efficient design, the RSC is the most common box style and can be used for most
products. All flaps are the same depth, and the two outer flaps (normally the lengthwise flaps)
are one-half the containers width, so that they meet at the center when folded.

FOL – Full Overlap Slotted Carton

All flaps are the same depth, and their depth equals the width of the box. When closed, the
outer flaps come within one inch of complete overlap. The style is especially resistant to rough
handling, as the overlapping flaps provide extra cushioning and added stacking strength.
CSSC – Center Special  Slotted Carton
Inner and outer flaps are cut to different depths, with the depth of the inner flaps equal to half
the length, and the depth of the outer flaps equal to half the width. Both pairs of flaps meet at
the center of the box. This style is especially strong because both the top and bottom have full
double thicknesses of corrugated board. The inner flaps, with no gap, provide a level base for
the product.

HSC –  Half Slotted Carton

Similar to the RSC (without one set of flaps), HSC’s only have flaps on the bottom; their tops are
open unless they have lids. These boxes are frequently used both for shipping and shelf storage,
or other applications where the cover must be removed and replaced frequently.

 OPF –  One-piece folder

One piece of board is cut so that it provides a flat bottom, with flaps forming the sides and
ends, and extensions of the side flaps meeting to form the top.

 SST – Top and Bottom

A two-piece box made from two scored and slotted trays. Because it is not self-locking, it requires tape, glue or staples to assemble.

Partition Assemble and Insert

Partitions provide a separate cell for each item in a box. They can be used to separate, cushion, suspend, and/or fill irregular spaces within a container. They are primarily used for glassware or other fragile products.
